Just got this email only been 11 days for me so far I did livescan an it still says unchecked but app/fee has been completed

I also called to see if I could get anything sooner and the young lady said there is a massive surge of people due to the new wear and carry change. I told her I know I'm one of them and she laughed and said good luck.

Yep. I got my HQL(finally) a month before the W&C rules changed. For once, I got in ahead of the curve.

Did you try booking with a private provider? Probably a few bucks more (I paid $80) but it was all done same day.

Don’t waste your money on HQL fingerprints.

Once your W&C is approved it is only a few clicks and you get the HQL for free with no other prints or anything else needed.

I submitted mine on 7/16/22. No progress as far as the site goes, but I’ve been seeing they sometimes don’t update through the process. I’ve talked to about 10 people and they’ve all been around 14-17 days for approval, some got approved on a Saturday also.

I’m HQL training exempt via dd214. Once it’s approved I am going to apply for the W&C. The reason I didn’t do that route first and skip the HQL is because they were saying the W&C approvals could take up to 90 days due to surge in applications.

They have 30 days, I’d honestly not get concerned until 30 days had passed, and with that timeline your application would be approved sometime today
