Anyone here have a place to rent on the beach? Looking to go Labor Day weekend, don’t know if I want to deal with hotel and finding places to eat the whole time.

We use to rent a house for $1500/wk three blocks from the beach until the person sold it for $1.2 million. Now we basically stay at the Boardwalk Plaza. Going back in two weeks for 5 days. Prices are extremely high being peak season. Booked it two months ago. Check with the big realtor Lingo is his name, they have rentals. I’d like to find a place in Lewes next time myself.

I’m going to be at my place in Florida for 2 weeks this month and my gf has a place in OC. I’m kind of averse to overpaying just to stay at a different section of the ocean.

Try looking a little North at Dewey Beach, you might have more luck, less people and only a 10-15 minute drive to Rehoboth.

Dewey is South of Rehoboth. They are side by side. It's a 2-3 minute drive from the center of Dewey to the center of Rehoboth.

I know most of the hotels in Dewey are booked solid. You may get lucky with a cancellation. Saturday evening I was talking to a friend who owns a hotel on Rehoboth Ave and they are sold out into October.

Oops :lol2: I've had good luck finding some rooms about 2-3 months out before. OP have you considered AirBnB?

Quick question.... planning on taking the wife and kids for a long weekend in RB in August. I have MD, NH, and VA carry permits.... by my review of the regulations and reciprocity lists, don't see a path for me to carry in DE. Just wanted to make sure that I haven't missed an angle before being forced to disarm at the boarder.

You need to get FL or UT. I got both pretty quickly, you might be able to get them before August. I'm pretty sure I got both within 30 days of submission.

Every time that the wife and I go to Rehoboth , I can use my Utah for concealed and DE is open carry.
Yes, DE is an open carry state but be prepared to be stared at like a lepper. It isn't too common in most areas and draws a lot of negative attention.

Just don't be the guy wearing a white tank and torn jorts I saw open carrying a Glock 26 in his belt the other day.

Open carry has its own issues. We had a situation in DE where a man brandished (unholstered) a gun on an unarmed person telling him he would shoot the other person. The cops on the scene told people they weren't sure if it was a crime because he was allowed open carry.

The 70-year-old gun wielder and his posse have been harassing people and this situation spun out of control further than in previous situations. Older people regress to middle-school level decision-making with more anger.

    I have a question for you. . . huh?
Ok Pay attention Pee Pads is Biden everyone knows that. That would make Mrs. Pee Pads Jill his caretaker errrr nurse errr wife eeerr adulter
Pee Pads(Biden) Like Ice Cream and pre pubescent children so much so he falls off bikes and walks away during speeches trying to sniff them/
He hated the wall it was mean and racist yet had one built around his Rohobeth home.

Understand now or do I need to break it down more for you.

If this place is still open, it used to be great.
