Great news!
I ordered my O ring set from Captain O ring yesterday from Ebay.
My adventure with my first PCP is concluded. After quite a bit if waiting for the oring kits, and a video showing a tear down from another forum member...I decided to look at it myself....The pressure tube in mine was full of debris...no idea what it how it got in there...but that was disturbing. The leak was coming from the threads around the cylinder that holds the foster fill....not an oring issue. I haven't dropped or banged it. The rear of the cyclinder that houses the foster fill is plastic. Any attempt to remove it, to get to the o-rings, which I wanted to replace with higher quality ones, resulted in the plastic nut just rounding....I put it back together and it was worse....after numerous attempts at getting a seal...I could get to 1700psi, then it would leak around the threads and I could hear it from the rear of the pressure tube...which I didn't alter...just threaded it back in. I didn't over tighten it, it was only hand tight to start with. I'm pretty much over it. Cutting my losses and will stick with my Springer. I only shot it for about 6-8 sessions, never shot a full tin of pellets from it. It developed a leak at a few days past the one year warranty...I'm not throwing good money after bad. Maybe I got the rifle that was made at beer thirty on a Friday...I have the magazines, two oring kits, a barrel adapter with threads that I will drop in the mail to anyone that can use them. PM me a mailing address. The oring kits are not caliber specific, the magazines and barrel insert are .22

Agree as long as 100% pure. Any petro in it and possible explosion. There was a paintball instance when filling a few years back where oil on fill nipple was determined to be the cause.
Silicone will help keep the oring and ball working together in the avenger fill as long as it wasn't likes Chip's where I found a metal shaving embedded in the oring. No amount of oil would have helped.
If you look close you can see it in the pic
I have read some parts of this thread on and off as it pops up. Been thinking about an air rifle because "why not".
I would likely just put a scope on it and shoot it stock for a while before making it "quiet"
I have dive tanks at home. Can I use those to fill this up with the proper adapters?
Not certain I want to spend more on accessories than the gun itself.

Dang. I wonder if mine will drop in that stock?
