I am not in the market, nor would I pay that price for it. However, I'll bet that they made a batch with a primer in it which is too hard for striker fired guns. Not a huge deal (no deal at all) if you are using it in a hammer fired gun.

I would buy it if I was in the market and simply keep it to use in my hammer fired guns. Either it goes off or it doesn't.

It is not going to blow anything up unless you WORK to blow something up, and even then, it would take some effort.

Pretty convenient they don’t show headstamp.

Until then, if I had to guess, this is all nothing but surplus South American stuff originally mfr’ed for open bolt select fires namely, the uzi.

I had wooden crates upon wooden crates of it at one time, imported CONUS by a firm out of NC*. Great for FTF drills but, not much else (unless one had an open bolt gun)

I still have a crate and a half of it so, if anyone ever gets a peek at the headstamps on the stuff in question, post it and I’ll do the same.

“Remanufactured” may just be them pouring it out of the boxes that say “Chilean Govt” into their own, loose, “bulk pack” boxes.
