Hello Fellow 2A Enthusiasts,
Tomorrow 5/26/2021 is a huge day for those of us that are concerned about future infringements of our constitutional right to keep and bear arms. What is so important about tomorrow you may ask? Well, tomorrow is the day that Joe Biden’s nominee to head the BATFE, David Chipman is to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate. Given Mr. Chipman’s political and personal stance on such things as Gun Control and Gun Rights, his confirmation as the next “Gun Czar” would be the beginning of the end for the 2nd Amendment as we know it. I am by no means fear mongering or trying to cause undue panic amongst the 2A community. However, his track record speaks volumes as to his desires to rid the American people of their rights by any means necessary. A former BATFE agent himself, Mr. Chipman has been involved in such high profile debacles such as Waco, Ruby Ridge and the “Fast & The Furious Scandal” Of course, he takes no personal responsibility for any of it. Instead he passes the buck or dodges the questions entirely. Typical of a Biden nominee. All that being said, there’s numerous news articles and interviews with Mr. Chipman himself where he openly expresses his belief that the 2nd Amendment should be repealed. We The People cannot allow someone with such views to head up the vary agency responsible for infringing on our rights. His leadership will embolden and empower his underlings to further infringe on our rights little by little, piece by piece until there is nothing left. I urge each of you reading this to contact your U.S. Senator’s-office first thing tomorrow morning and demand that they vote “No” on this confirmation. Having said that, I do realize that as Marylander’s we have an uphill battle given our current Senators political party affiliations, however we cannot let that deter us from having our voices heard. This issue is too important. Below you find the contact info for both U.S. Senators. If you’re unsure who represents you and your district, please call them both. Thank you for taking the time to read this and God Bless.
