I have 3 secluded and wooded acres in Boonsboro. Can I shoot in my backyard?
Even though it is a hunting regulation, Maryland police are taught that you have to be 150 yards away from an occupied dwelling unless you have written authorization by the owner of the dwelling. Some counties have more restrictions than others.
If neighbors don’t agree with the racket they will still call and it will be a hassle. Suggest befriending them and getting a consensus if you can.
