anyone using IMR3031 for reloading 223 in an AR platform? What do you think of it? What are your results with it?

3031is a pretty versatile powder, and it performs well enough in .223 Remington. But being an extruded powder, it'll remind you just how much nicer a ball powder flows, both in a measure and through a 22 caliber case neck.

I did work up a load in H335, but ran out of that. Not sure when I'll get more. The other choices I'm looking at are 8208 and 4350.
Honestly, the hh35 leaked through my lee auto drum like a sieve but otherwise I liked it.
What about Winchester 748?
I use ww748 as my base load for .223 55gn bullets. Never had a problem with it except that it leaks around the powder measure. So does H110/WW296 so I keep the shop vac nearby.
I have Lyman 55 and a RCBS Uniflow but I load .223 on my Dillon and still use their thrower. I know I can convert it but, it isn't worth the bother. Neither powder ties anything up and it is probably like oil, a couple ounces looks like a qt when you spill it.
