Picked-up another Shadow 2 in Urban Gray/Black today. Looks new to me but, allegedly had one box of ammo run thru it by the previous owner.
How could someone sell that after one box?! That’s crazy. Nice gun! And I’m not a fan of gray guns.
Sweet. You need both a right and left holster to dual wield now.

Exactly that, I have heard a bunch of folks say they dont like that color scheme. Its also posible that the person got a great deal or won it in a raffle or something and maybe did well selling it

How did I sell it?
Easy. It was more of a sale/trade/purchase deal.
Nice ergos. Good shooter. Would have become a range only, dot queen. I would never have carried this gun.
At this point in my life, a gun is a tool not a toy. I don’t see that gun on my hip or in the woods. It’s impracticably heavy for both of those tasks.
Y’all shouldn’t be so quick to doubt and or disparage. I guess it’s what people who are really smart and worldly do...
As you were.
It went to a great home where it will be loved and appreciated. That’s almost as good a reason as “it doesn’t fit my own schedule of utility.”
It’s a great damn gun...for what it is. Indeed, it’s one of the single nicest “out of the box” shooters I’ve ever used/owned. For my money though, give me a SAO Legion or a damn good old 1911. If I’m gonna haul a big gun around, it needs to have more utility and less pretty. That’s just me.
Enjoy.
That would make one heck of a 22 Target gun.
It's hard telling. I'm not a big fan of funky color schemes, either, but the gray/black is starting to grow on me and as long as it's a shooter, that's all that really matters.
Now, I'm considering the Kadet .22 conversion kit and running one of the Shadow 2's as a full-time .22 competition pistol.
No worries.I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to bash anyone. I’ve just heard so many good things about them. I’ve also never been a big buy/sell/trade kind of guy so I’m always surprised at guns that are traded in with low round counts. As the saying goes one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. They’re definitely geared towards range/competition. As long as you got what you wanted in the end. That’s what counts. Good luck.
No worries.
I, like most folks here, suffer from the “right fit” on carry gun AND holster. It’s kind of like searching for two holy grails simultaneously.
The CZ Shadow 2 is now a SIG P365 and a VP9 SK, both with accoutrements.
I have enjoyed regret before. Prolly not this time. But if I do, I know just how to remedy it, eh? ;-)
That would make one heck of a 22 Target gun.
I need to get some type of holster for the Shadow 2 but, I'm not sure if I want to pony-up $144 for a competition holster like, a Ghost 'The One' or go with something for about half that price? Again, it'll probably take me 3+ months to make a decision on it.
In case you didn't know, the Blade-tech holster for the standard SP-01 fits my Shadow 2 just fine. I will be using this combo in a couple of weeks in a 3-gun match.
