on my list of something to do... why ask why.
Im glad someone else is crazy as im . This has been on my to-do list for some time now and im finally getting started I'm doing two pistol builds at the same time one 458 and 308 so far the 308 Barrel is the hardest part to find
So...what barrel length and caliber are guys thinking about for their AR-10 pistols? .308 seems like it'd be a real firebreather anywhere under 16 inches. Of course, if that's your thing, then carry on.
Go to kak industries website. They have all that stuff. I am goin to get their McLane upper for my build.I don't know what's in stock but that is where i plan on getting mine.
I checked them out yesterday and I didn't see anything thing in stock but I'm still looking and will let you know what I see

10" will erode the gas port rapidly. 12" is optimal for this purpose.
This barrel length will destroy most suppressors too so check the barrel length and caliber ratings.
Adjustable gas blocks dont last long on short .308 type AR's.
There are many that I have reworked to get them running. They are a beast.
