Where you using 110 grain hp loads in it by any chance?
That's adorable!
Taurus has stepped up their game in quality control and the quality of their guns. Rebranding the company has done wonders. We sell loads of their revolvers, and I’ve shot the dickens out of mine. A model 66 7-shot 357 matte black finish and 6” barrel. Mucho fun to shoot.

If its a "clone" I would trust it. If its one of their own design only if it was given to me. I love the 92 series "Berettas" they make and I have fired their 1911 and enjoyed it.
This.
For that price go get a Taurus 66 in 4in or 6in from Gym Ratz. I picked up a 6in 66 in matte black last month myself and love it.
You think the quality is there for the price to buy it and rarely shoot it after an initial test fire? Any thoughts?
Why would I do that when I stated I'd love to buy this just for the looks? Does a 66 look like the DT?
And in theory, he could shoot 38 +P out of a 357 stubbie. I'd do the same.I don't see how .357 is better than .38+P in a snubby.
The Smith and Wesson 642 is similar in price and a great alternative.
