Finally managed to snag a beautiful Model 29-2 with a 6 1/2" barrel. This was an elusive beast. Came close a couple of times but, every time I'd find one it was either beat-up pretty bad or so over-priced it was obscene.

S&W said it shipped in late 1976, probably right around the time I reported for Basic Training at Fort Sill, OK.

Came with all the goodies: box, papers, tools. So, while I was waiting to pick it up, I perused YouTube yesterday and found that Hickok45 also recently got the same kind of Model 29-2 after a long wait.

well didn't have time go buy the new IP GLR ENT. so they took pictures and sent them to me pretty nice customer service I'd say.So the new toy S&W 686 plus Talo 357 mag.

That's really nice. I don't think there's any revolver more versatile than a .357 with a 6" barrel. Practice with .38/hunt with .357 and put it on the nightstand right beside you for HD.

I really get a kick out of taking these pictures and they're typically, go out, take a series of three shots for my end result and go inside. The guns do all the work. I just click a button.
It helps to have a decent backyard for a backdrop and prop too

Had a spur-of-the-moment range trip with Fidelity Friday afternoon to Frederick IWLA. Ran half a box of Fiocchi 200gr. JHP .44 Special and 15 rounds of AE 240gr JSP .44 Magnum to conduct a POI test and predictably, it shot right to point of aim.

My day was made.
