Great looking gun! 6-inch barrel, so deer legal with the right ammo in MD where pistol hunting is allowed.

Finally managed to snag a beautiful Model 29-2 with a 6 1/2" barrel. This was an elusive beast. Came close a couple of times but, every time I'd find one it was either beat-up pretty bad or so over-priced it was obscene.
S&W said it shipped in late 1976, probably right around the time I reported for Basic Training at Fort Sill, OK.
Came with all the goodies: box, papers, tools. So, while I was waiting to pick it up, I perused YouTube yesterday and found that Hickok45 also recently got the same kind of Model 29-2 after a long wait.
Fun video to watch with some interesting trivia about the movie.

Thank you guys you're too nice! An old picture of my coach gun made it into a calendar down here in NC. I hope to get some more in next years too. I really get a kick out of taking these pictures and they're typically, go out, take a series of three shots for my end result and go inside. The guns do all the work. I just click a button.
It helps to have a decent backyard for a backdrop and prop too
I keep an Instagram running that I post my pictures on as well. Some you've seen some you haven't. It's handle is

Mostly gun but some other shots as well

your welcome thanks for sharingSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That's really nice. I don't think there's any revolver more versatile than a .357 with a 6" barrel. Practice with .38/hunt with .357 and put it on the nightstand right beside you for HD.
Awesome pick-up!
