So good you posted it twice huh.....lmao
So good you posted it twice huh.....lmao
Not intentionally. Not sure if it was my internet connection or the forum, but I got a lot of lag. I didn't even think it posted ONCE.
That said, I also shoot a Remington 878....a shotgun that no one remembers.
I have a Remington 887 Nitro (not semi) and I love it but I've seen where a lot on here seem to hate it. Not really sure why.
No mossberg 930 suggestions
You ever post what you intend on using this shotgun for? Huge difference between using it for home defense, wing shooting, deer hunting, etc.
With that said, my preference would either be Benelli or Beretta. Which exact model would depend on the task at hand.
That would be a possible suggestion if there were budget constraints, but without budget constraints I would not consider any Mossberg product to be a Lincoln type product (i.e., I am a Ford guy).
I don’t hunt. Do most of my shotguns are geared towards defensive purposes .
I’m partial to semi-automatic combat shotguns.
My list:
Benelli M4
Benelli m2
Beretta 1301 tactical
Remington versamax
FN SLp
Vepr or Saiga 12
Fabs,
What are your thoughts on the shotgun in post #16?
Just got a deal (on Gunbroker-NIB)on a Mossberg 930 Pro Sporting --good looking gun--so far have put a couple hundred rounds through it- mostly 1oz sporting loads--not a bobble, shoots great--breaks everything if I do my job and it comes with 3 Briley chokes. I generally shoot a Browning 725 or Berretta 391 semi but the Mossberg will make a great "guest" gun. Check it out.
If Beretta and Benelli went out of business, I would be buying Fabarms autos and Caesar Guerini o/u shotguns.
Kind of like if Ford/Lincoln went out of business, I would be buying Chevy/Buick/Cadillac. It would take quite a while before I would be buying VW or Chrysler stuff.
If Ruger were to go under, I would start buying Sako rifles. Hell, I've been thinking about changing rifle loyalty and jumping to Sako, but will stick with Ruger for the time being.
So, to answer your actual question, I think Fabarms is a very nice auto loading shotgun.
Re-read my post- #16
My reply wasn't 2 cent shotgunning enough for you?
I wasn't all over the place enough. Knew I should have thrown in some Hondas, Toyotas, and Ferraris and then some other products to the list. Maybe should have listed different makers of mozzarella.
I asked that at post #2. I began to think that it must have been a dumb question. You ever post what you intend on using this shotgun for? Huge difference between using it for home defense, wing shooting, deer hunting, etc.
