Great video! Rack and all, thank you for what you do. I've lived in Maryland my whole life (nearly 60 years) and have never been more ashamed of my state government than I am right now. I know it's an uphill battle fighting to retain our Second Amendment rights in Maryland but at least we play by the rules...can they say the same?

Where's Governor Hogan? He really needs to comment on this. I seem to recall a one-term governor named Ehrlich ignoring us...

Hey folks,

I wanted to post my 100% support for Jeff and his brother. I am appalled at what I saw in the video. As a green card holder who has built his life with his family in America, I see value and genius in the BoR and the Constitution. I have debated with my wife on being there this Monday to support all of you. However, I cannot take the risk of catching a bogus charge and having it affect my current green card or my future application for citizenship. My two children are Americans and have only known this great country. I just can't risk being deported and ripping them from their lives here. Please don't think less of me because I am choosing not to be there to support you in person.

This post needs to be quoted on every page for our guests to see.
Tyrannical government is what law abiding citizens and legal residents fear.

Fast forward to the next day. The Chief was there to deliver more bogus charges because they knew the first would be thrown out. He too is being ordered from higher up the food chain. Who does the MCP ultimately report too and who has the hammer to force them to execute illegal arrests should be the question asked.

Don't lose sight of that. This issue is bigger than Sgt. Pope.

When you take the oath and wear the uniform, you....YOU own your decisions and actions. YOU enjoy some discretion (further from "flagpole", more discretion). I get his proximity to the flagpole. I also understand in detail his oath. If he doesn't, shame on him. If things are so Fd up there that he fears for his job, shame in them and if he's worth a hoot, he ought to be shopping his resume. Honor and integrity and patriotic fidelity are out of vogue for many. If you wear the uniform and take the oath, then you buck up and do the right thing. There's something to be said for a man being a man and standing for what is right.

After all, that's the whole thing here. Each man must look inside and find his moral and ethical center. The SGT failed. The reasons why really are not germane to the outcome he publicly produced.

I agree. He was probably ordered to do it. However, he chose to follow that order. He could have voiced his concerns and said "I am not comfortable with this". He did not. He actually arrested a man who was doing nothing wrong. That's a big deal. There should be consequences for this behavior. It will make other officers think twice if they are given similar orders in the future.

While the video makes my blood boil,

The cynical side of my brain is saying that it may be a little bit of a disservice to edit out the period before sgt poperi showed up.

Unless that is the begining of when the recording starts and that's all the available film. Seems strange there was zero dialogue before what is shown.

Patriots I am appalled at the arrests on Monday. I would like to attend this coming Monday to show my support but I can't. It's taken me 1 year to find a job and my first day is Monday.

Thanks for all you are doing. It's bad enough dealing with Marylands 2A restrictions this has taken things to a new, unacceptable, level.

To those who might suggest that the Patriot Picket arrest video is edited to favor the home team, I can tell you that everything useable was put up.

As mentioned above we are triggering an iPhone camera to pick up what we think are important activities. We have not been rolling a continuous stream Go Pro, but we can now see the need is great for that.

Here is the treatment you get if you are a Greenie.

Last week we stopped to talk to the environmental protesters at Lawyer’s Mall. In addition to “permitted” Greenies crowding the mall, they also staged their 20 foot long heavy canvas banner (which takes 4-5 people to hold) in THE EXACT SPOT where I, and then Deep Lurker, were arrested.

See the pictures below of the Cove Point Protesters on the same PUBLIC SIDEWALK that the Patriot Picket has occupied...

Just a quick note on that. I contacted the Governors office several times in fact. They explained to me that Hogan is recovering from a bout of skin cancer. They told me that there is an investigation into this from his office and he will be addressing this personally and making an official statement on the matter. Take it for what you will but I think that's positive news. Let's hope for the best. I've also been fighting to get the ACLU involved and I am glad to see that a representative has stepped forward. See you Monday on the bricks! Trying to get my whole family to go! If anyone needs a ride from Rockville please message me!

Don't worry - I'm pretty sure there will be GoPros and other cameras rolling from 2 blocks out all the way to the end of the event Monday night, by several PPers and MDSers, not to mention the news media.

Though I very much have wished to, I haven't been able to actively participate in a PP since the Westminster one because of both proximity and my work situation(just can't risk my family's livelihood / patriarchal responsibilities). If I was to respectfully request getting off work early on Monday in order to participate in this EPIC PP, is there anyone I could possibly hitch a ride with from either Frederick(where I work) or Westminster(near where I live)???

I wanna do my part, fellas, but can't unduly risk putting my wife and daughters in the unemployed soup & bread line w/o doing all I possibly can to avoid that horrifying potential outcome. I just don't know where my employer stands on this issue and I don't want to find out the hard way.
