sorry to disappoint. keep yer eyes open for another controversial thread, [sorta].

It better be a good one, because if it follows the trajectory of the last couple of your "controversial" threads, it's going to be your final act here.

    Your move.

The comma placement in 2A is very important. Everything before the second comma is preamble to the statement of rights.

Read these three statements... the outcome is the same from the perspective of the declarative statement of rights.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Kittens being cute and fluffy, and only capable of reducing pests of the size of rodents, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Politicians being lying sacks of excrement, with full intention to corrupt any system that they can, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

What do you think it means?

And don't tell us Farmer John has to sit in the barn for X amount of training before stepping up to Bessie's milk pail and firing one musket shot into a hay bale at 15 yards.
