My guess would be that the small circular spring included with the geissele was not used.
I agree....I suspect the hammer spring is upside down. The legs of the hammer spring should both lay flat on the trigger pin, and it will not come.out then. If you look down the receiver, and the hammer spring is not flat- but at an angle, you'll know it's upside down.

Thanks for this. You are right. The long legs are not flat on the trigger pin. I'll take it apart when I get back home tonight.

I don't know about an LMT/Geisel but installed correctly the trigger pin can't walk out. Hope this helps
Spring is a possibility, so is an out of spec lower. If it's not the spring, buy a set of anti walking pins and you shouldn't have any other issues.
