Any of the gun shows the last two months displaying any .22 Nosler Uppers?

I wonder, since the case has 25% more volume, wouldn't that mean higher pressures imposed on the bolt lugs?

If it gets popular, I guess that means I'll have to buy a couple of uppers, a few dozen mags, and stockpile more ammo! Damn. Just when I think I have most of what I need, something better comes along!

This is an interesting cartridge, I must admit. Since it's based on the 6.8 SPC, the brass is shorter than .223, so heavy for caliber bullets (80gr SMKs) would be no problem with this combination. It's still a .224 bullet, though.

I'll be interested if and only if they do the same thing in 6mm.

Speaking of, I just saw someone mildly notable (Hornady?) was looking at a 6.5SPC wild cat. 6.8 case, but 6.5 bullets. You get the slight case capacity increase that the 6.8 has over the 6.5 and lower drag rounds.

On the Nosler, I'd want to see what handloading or hotter loads will do. The one review of it I read the Nosler 77gr load only produced about right on 1400lb-ft of muzzle energy out of an 18" barrel. A hot 5.56 round (IMI 77gr razor core) will produce about 1250-1280lb-ft of muzzle energy out of a 18" barrel

Higher is higher, but a ~10% gain in energy for needing a custom barrel, not interchangeable mags (well, if you have 6.8SPC they are) and I assume significantly more expensive ammo...

Now if you are telling me the Nosler 77gr in 22 Nosler is loaded on the lighter side and you could handle load safely and accurately up to around 1500ft-lbs with a 77gr out of an 18" barrel, you may just have my interest. Also I'd be interested if you could load 85gr .224 caliber bullets in to a case developing >1400lb-ft and stabilizing it with 22 Nosler.

PS my big gripe with .22-250 is pretty much all barrels seem like 1:12 twist for light varmit rounds.

The link I provided in post # 6, the 77 grain was 2,831 fps out of an 18" barrel.

That conversion has already been done nothing new. Blackhole Weaponry makes the barrels for 22x6.8 - 6x6.8 - 6.5x6.8
And others off Grendel cases. All are easy conversions for the reloader.
