Looking at his posts here he also owned a Steyr AUG. If he sold that to buy a Tavor then he truly is clueless.

I skimmed through his arf posts last night. He sounds prone to exaggeration. He starts the thread like he's a big spender and wants to get the very best that's possible for him to obtain in MD talking Noveske, LaRue, etc and is completely unaware of home grown options such as LWRC. Then later he's stuck on a decision between sub $1000 Colt and Windham HBARs from a local FFL due to the $100 difference.

ETA: checked his other posts, for example ... https://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=187500 ... could be legit and just indecisive and poorly informed.

That's fine. I only plan on building it into a legal Hbar configuration.

As for the form 77r, I probably won't go that route as I'm a veteran
who spent 60 days in an in-patient treatment program for PTSD at a
VA facility. It was a voluntary program which I enrolled in, and it's difficult
to get in to, as there is a wait-list. Never been violent, or anything like that.
My doctor told me about it, and the girlfriend and I figured it would be a good idea.

Regardless, a form 77r would probably disqualify me.

So then, what options would I have? Buy a complete Hbar and swap out parts,
uppers, triggers, etc? If that is my only option, then I would assume the main
thing I would be looking for in a complete rifle is the quality of the lower, as that will be the part I would keep. The upper, stock, trigger and everything
else would be replaced. Is this correct?
