Opposition up. Showing up for racial justice and NAACP. Does not support arming educators. Talking about studies where a gun was planted. Even after receving training. Making argument that students will get guns. Adolescent anger will be a problem. Also police response won't be able to tell good guys from bad guys.

Going on about how MD law does not observe the protection of money or property, despite it being the most common "good and substantial reason".

Objective complete. People will never need to use guns. Maryland is so safe now.

    Have the Moms all gone?

    No.

The mother of the girl who was murdered with a black powder pistol is in the background (and getting ancy) and her attorney just showed up. I suspect more "Moms" are awaiting in the wings and may flow in when the bill is called.

If the poor girl had been killed with a rock or a rope or his bare hands, the "Mom's Demanding Everytown Against GUN VIOLENCE" would be nowhere to be found, because THEY don't care about actual violence. (I took them to task in the Senate last week, feel free for someone to take them to task again)

The Mother of the slain girl will be a tear jerker, complete with pictures. It is awful what happened, but her fight is misplaced, no doubt by people who have a contriving agenda.

She should be ashamed of herself for using her pain and suffering and the loss of her daughter as a weapon to take our firearms.

Talking about violators are repeat offenders. Also perps are not going through legal means to carry. Insert shocked face. Good summary of problems are from repeat offenders not following firearms laws. This bill is not a felony like last year's bill but now a misdemeanor.

Bigfoot44 is top Voice Over talent. He gave me his card. I hope I can afford to hire him for some video work. Right up there with David Attenborough.

I don't like it. If it's a criminal, prosecute them for the crimes they commit. He just spoke of people that may not know, or make an honest mistake, and giving them some latitude. If they pass this law its non-suspendible. So if the otherwise honest person that he describes, makes any other mistake at any point in the rest of their lives, they have no possibility of getting any latitude from a judge. I don't like it. Obviously, not the worse bill this year, but they keep chipping away. Its not the gun, or even possession of a gun; its the person and what they are doing with the firearm that matters. They keep talking about violence, but here they are talking about mere possession, which is already a FELONY for criminals to possess.
