Don't know what vendor, but they had a table of magpul items.

Saw him, they were mostly mags. I was looking for angled foregrips. A few AFG2's were around, but I need a large one. Some others had the airsoft ones.

    LOL...

Had to work today, and am on the hook for tomorrow.

If I get a couple hours, I might swing through for a peek.

Anyone know if any dealers had milsurp SKS stripper clips?

as said about half way back. The guy that had the 1911 and M1 parts. Look on the side facing the right isle next to some Mosin stripper clips. Somehow seeing those stuck in my head.

Colt 1903 from South Carroll had my name on it.

BTW I saw spotty availability of primers but did not see powder. But was not looking very hard.

I love the 1903. Heard colt is making new ones which is kinda exciting.

    I also want a 1915 Ruby.

A1 had some awesome deals on PX4 Storms! Mike & Greg are good guys and we're a huge help on a laser project.

Hey, it was a pleasure meeting you (or meeting you again if we had met before). Thankfully I was able to spend the entire day at the show, splitting my time between helping my better half and a dear friend run a few tables; and helping out at the MSI booth (which I honestly enjoy more, ha!).

Crap. Must not've recognized ya. :o

I'm probably heading over in about an hour or so, how're the vendors looking? Actually looking for a Sprinfield XD, is it a waste of a trip?

I bought a set of Magpul sights from a vendor just behind the South Carroll table. He had vertical grip extensions, but I can't recall if he had the angled ones... he's the table that also had a nice 4 inch barreled High Standard HD Military.

Same here, sorry. Great catching up with you earlier this week though.

There were so many MDShooters members there it was almost like a reunion, and put some new faces to names. I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with everyone.

Stickshaker - while we were looking at all those revolvers together, I forgot to mention the Rhino revolver, it's a futuristic looking, and interesting 'new' 'different' design. I like common calibers because I don't reload and they are easier to find and usually cheaper. But how you plan to shoot/purposes, I think you almost can't go wrong with any of the slightly more rare calibers you were talking about.

I get an earful and then some about the Rhino from Yankee Marshal. He worships that gun.

For some reason I'm drawn to oddball stuff and not just guns. I love revolvers and the .45ACP cartridge which is why I picked that gun. Another big plus for me is brass management. It gets old rooting around on the floor or ground picking up brass.

Did not find much to buy, did not seem to be as many venders as last HoCo show and prices for used guns were high. Did meet and talked to fellow members at the MSI table, enjoyed the conversation.

I couldn't make the show ended up that Im in Florida spending time in Turmp Country down here with my brother.

After reading the comments about the show and the lack of reloading supplies I was disappointed, but not surprised.

When at the Gettysburg show last week I was speaking with one of the vendors there who did have tables at the last September show. He said that they wont be doing any more Silverado shows any more because of issues with the promoter. Commented that the show just wasn't cost effective any more but not because of attendance. Sounds like they just charge too much for booths. I'm hoping that whatever market forces are happening behind the scenes corrects itself. It would be a shame to have this show just fade away.
