I am new to MD gun laws so go easy on me. You're telling me I can buy an AR10 with no issues?

Awesome thanks. What is a CWL? Its in the bill of sale.
Oh okay. Gotcha. ThanksYour concealed carry license #.
In other parts of the country where they are easier to get, they are often used as evidence you are not prohibited.

... because a "bushmaster" is a very scary snake, so they banned that one by name...
The legislature did not ban the Bushmaster brand by name, as you and the MDS well know. They banned a specific non AR rifle, not manufactured in many years. The Bushmaster company was formed years later.
The Maryland State Police know this perfectly well, and for many years Bushmaster brand HBARs were sold cash and carry.
Only since 2014 has the MDS arbitrarily and extra-legally chosen to deliberately misinterpret the law.
We should not help them to perpetuate their extra-legal activities. We need to keep alive the correct understanding of the law. People count on us for correct information.
And for that matter dedicated 9mm AR-15 ( mag well that only takes 9mm mags, does NOT accept standard 5.56, etc magazines).
MM , you don't need to deliberately avoid snakes . The various Colt revolvers ranged from decent to excellent, the only problem is collectors have driven the prices stupid high.
The Cobra brand subcompact pistols are better than similar ones in their.
I'm not sure if the current outfit still does, but back when Blackjack Knives were good quality, they had one named Mamba.
And then of course Ford has used Cobra in several differnt contexts.
Yep.
Cash and carry, no problem.
Maryland gun laws are as clear as mud.
That's great, thanks.
I have a 9mm AR lower that was processed as regulated. I was handed the form by the owner of a local gun shop, that will remain un-named, and I gave a look of "WTH", when an employee give me a high-sign and just played along and filled out the form.
Ahh you have the Rhode Island sized magazine well.
Ahh you have the Rhode Island sized magazine well.
Over my head.
Explaining jokes ruins them, so I'll be ok not knowing.
If the lower receiver has a magazine well the size of Texas then it's an AR10.
I don't see how one can be confused with the other.
...
Texas sized mag well is AR10, legal.
Tennessee sized mag well is AR15, generally illegal; unless it's a pistol, or heavy barrel, or purchased before October 2013, unless it's a bushmaster. {crazy eh?}
Welcome to the absurd Idoicracy (see the movie) Maryland gun laws!

Should make sense now.
