I received three emails from atf.gov that the status of my applications have changed.

When I log in I am able to see that two of the suppressors filed have permit numbers and submitted dates however the SBR all filed on the same day does not have a permit number or submitted date.

How would I know if these items are on the correct path to approval or denied? Is there some link on the site to see if there were any problems?

Under normal circumstances, it may take a coupla weeks from the date you submitted an item before ATF begins the process and assigns a number. Due to the 14 July change, ATF's swamped, so things may be backed up. If it's been more than three weeks since you submitted your Efile, I'd ring them up to make sure the item actually got uploaded properly and you completed the transaction (to say the Efile site/system is buggy is putting it mildly!).

Thanks I just think it's odd that I revived three separate emails one for each submission stating a status change but only two of the three submissions which were all posted on the same day had been processed.

I'll give it a few days and see if the SBR is just lagging behind. Maybe there is a more in depth process behind the scenes.

My SBR was submitted 5 days ahead of a Suppressor
SBR stamp came over a month later

I filed them on June 27th. As i understand as long as the eFile was complete
Before the 7/12 cutoff I shouldn't be rejected for that reason.

My understanding is that the filing had to go "Submitted" before July 13th to not be subjected to Rule 41f/p. I had one of my SBR form 1 applications go "Pending Research" back in December, and it took 2 weeks to go "Submitted". Question is, what did your e-mail receipts from June 27th say? I received a 2nd e-mail from ATF around January 14th to say that my .458 SOCOM SBR Form 1 went "Submitted" on that day.

At this point, there really isn't much you can do other than to wait and see how it all plays out.

    Now, time for some sleep.

The two suppressors were flagged as submitted 7/25. SBR is still blank.

I thought as long as your eFile form was either post marked or completed online on or before 7/12 you were good.

Before this whole process began I was really thinking this was a big mental barrier. I just didn't want to deal with getting finger printed. Now that the date has passed I'm not sure I really care. Im going to need to get printed anyway to get my HQL. So if these get rejected I'll just re-file under the new rules I guess.

Well I got an email today from the ATF asking me if I was building the gun from scratch or using an 80% lower.

I replied that I intended to use an 80% lower. I got an auto reply about an hr later indicating that the status of my SBR app is now changed to submitted.

I guess things are moving right along.
