I am considering selling my AR15. I put it together as far as buying kits and parts. How would I go about pricing that out? I'm open to ideas

Wait till november if you can and get 3x the money for it.
It's funny because it's true. If there's a Democratic presidential win in November, you'll have at least a week or so of panic buying before the idiots remember we haven't lost the House.

    What happens in November, Hillary?

I know I will make more if I sell it out right, but not sure I have that time. But not sure what the local shops would give me either

    Whats your parts list?

    Spikes upper
    DPMS BCG / chrg handle
    DPMS 16" HBAR
    Spikes Pirate lower
Primary Arms lower kit (standard trigger)
    generic buffer tube assembly
    Magpul stock (basic)
    Magpul front/rear BUS
Troy floating handguard (not sure of the model, paid about $200 for it)
    Vortex Strikefire II red dot
    Magpul grip

Its been painted desert camo, then back to black, about 2k rounds through it

Five to six hundred bucks, maybe. It's a mix-master built by an unknown-entity, The Troy rail isn't bad in an objective sense, but the market has shifted from full/modular rails to M-LOK/KeyMod. Troy has also fallen out of favor in some circles for political reasons. The painting doesn't do much as a value-enhancer, either.

You'd be better off selling the Strikefire II separately.

    Where are you located?

    Perry Hall

Next question. I have a buyer for it. Sorry for being a novice to this. I did some searching and found a lot of information prior to 2013 so I am a little unclear. As I found, I can sell this to a Maryland resident face to face with no transfer paper work since it was built as an HBAR?
