The former owner holds many patents for snow making equipment and is a world wide expert in the subject of snow making. Unfortunately the weather man hasn't been helping things with the temperatures not even getting close to freezing.

I don't need snow to have fun up there. They have a fantastic Sporting Clays area, at least 1/2 a dozen bars, too many to mention places to eat and about 45 minute drive to shoot with the Hooligans on a Sunday morning. If you look closely you can see the roof of our townhouse at the top center of the picture.

Snow showers likely, mainly between 10pm and midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 19. West wind 14 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Good Grief - The Snow Has Arrived!

It's been snowing most of the afternoon here in Deep Creek! WOW!

The accumulation is HUGE! We might even get to 3% of 3" overnight!

NWS Forecasts Change...

I wish I had a job where I was paid for being wrong more often than right...

I do know it will be cold in Deep Creek this weekend. Actually Mrs. J told me some of our precip is because they are trying to make some snow tonight at the WISP.

But will the updated NWS forecast predict the necessary 3" of total snow accumulation on my deck rail to bring finality to this karma thread?

Snow showers, mainly before 4am. Low around 18. Breezy, with a west wind 16 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Saturday
Scattered snow showers, mainly before 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 28. West wind 15 to 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Mostly clear, with a low around 16. West wind 7 to 15 mph.

Missing by an inch or two may work with "Horse Shoes" or "Hand Grenades". But I've seen you hit the tail feathers of a "tiny turkey target" at 100 yards with a 45/70 Trap Door. I know your sense of accuracy is much better than "thaaaat much"...

Damn, if you are where I think you are, you are between Richmond and I-81. That is one hell of a hike from where you used to live. On the upside, I could only use 2 major highways to get there, if I want to visit you in America.
