As a result of my previous thread, I ordered a Lone Wolf threaded barrel for my G19. Now I need help and recommendations for a suppressor. The barrel has 1/2 x 28 threads. I'm really not looking to spend a thousand dollars but I realize they aren't cheap. Thanks for your help.

I've been very happy with my Gemtech Multimount. You can use is on multiple guns.

Did you guys buy locally or the net? Thanks I really appreciate the help I get here but it's expensive :D

I've bought suppressors from Duffy's and Gun Connection. Happy with those transactions.

Buy localn with transfer fees, it has to be a smokin' deal to make it worth it.

Duffy's, Engage or 2A have all been good choices.

A 9mm suppressor should cost about $600. Maybe a little more, maybe a little less. But you can definately get a nice one for that price.

    Good luck. They are addicting.

Cool. Do you need a NFA trust (probably a late question since I submitted the form to an IP here)? Will they let you use it at the range?

You don't NEED a trust. I have one. Never had a problem using a can at a range.

You really should go see one of the mentioned IP's. Duffy's, BBP, 2A, Engage all have excellent reps. Some cans that are advertised at really low prices online may not come with the booster or LID. With the G19, you will need that. Don't forget the $200 for the stamp.

All that said, is why folks recommend going to a dealer that can walk you through the first NFA experience.

Silencers are not addictive. I can quit anytime I want. Right Vince?

So I probably jumped the gun on the NFA. I'm not sure I want to tell the guy forget it. I bought my AR from Engage and they're relatively local to me. Do I stop the NFA process? Why would I have thought I needed one? Thanks

not sure what you mean. Did you already file an atf form as an individual and you want to use a trust?

I've only filled out the form and PayPal'd the guy from this site (Black Friday NFA). Sorry for the confusion.

oh, you ordered a trust from PGT? Yeah, that's good. People were recommending you go to an IP to buy a can, not to buy the trust from them. I just got my trust from PGT as well and bought two suppressors 2 days ago from BBpawn

Its a piece of cake. Once you have your trust signed and notarized you just go to the shop, pick out your item, pay for it and hand them a copy of the trust. It's 1000% easier than buying a handgun, what with all the extraneous paperwork. Just a lot longer wait, lol

You either have to have a trust or go through the CLEO sign off process for a suppressor, so if you have already started the trust process, go ahead and finish it. Much easier than the CLEO route. Engage is great to work with in buying a suppressor. I have bought two from them

So you just bought a trust. You have not started the NFA process. If you want a can, use the trust. It is a lot easier than going the individual route. You can start looking around during the wait for the trust. Go talk to Engage since you know them.
BTW, once you submit the Form 4 to the ATF, you have about 5 to 6 months before you can bring it home.
