    Almost every gun shop I've been to has 22 dummy rounds but technically these are not snap caps in the dry fire sense. If you use them for actual trigger pulls then they will be ruined with just a few hits.

    For sure on the dummy rounds. Of course I can purchase snap caps on the net, but wanted to purchase locally. Who knows, maybe a few firearms will follow me home. :-)

    use spent casings for practicing trigger pull, just rotate the case every couple shots. Gets old fast though. If cycling,you'll need dummies.
