Don't be a dick Honda. I get the privacy thing but really? Destroying someone's property without even contacting them first is a dbag move and likely would result in future unfriendly relations and a run in with johnny law.

I hope this is a joke. The only person being a dick is whoever thinks it is OK to fly that thing around HIS house. Flying over his house at a reasonable altitude to get somewhere else is one thing. Flying around his house for 10 mins? F him and his drone and F whatever the law says. Deal with it in whatever way you can get away with it.

Are you really that paranoid of that thing flying over your house where you just want to shoot it out of the sky with a gun?? If it's 15-20 over your house and does have a gopro on it then they ain't seeing anymore then if they were to go on google earth. Now if you walk out of the shower one day at its at your window that's a different story.

I already told him that it would have to have an incredible zoom on it to capture anything. I'm talking damn near telescopic.

Do you really think he has to justify his right to privacy? Why don't you ask dick neighbor to try to justify why he thinks it is OK to snoop instead? Let's not make the dick out to be the victim.

Maybe he just doesn't want the damn thing circling a mere 20 fet over his roof for ten minutes. That would be horribly annoying.

I would try to preserve good relations with a neighbor, but after a "friendly" talk I would expect no further incidents.

    Also,
    Think miniature barrage balloons ...

Wow sounds like a bunch of people stabbing beachballs in front of kids when they go over your fence.

That's what the bayonets are for.

First rule of Drone Club.... Don't talk about Drone Club. If you got a nice one, it's just a matter of time before they are all registered, then uber regulated, then banned and then confiscated. I would highly recommend getting a nice one before you can't get a nice one - they can be one of those game changing capabilities like night vision if you know how to employ it right.. Perfect SHTF accessory depending on your scenario.

RC copters are a fun hobby. They should be respectful though. Talk to him, if he doesn't listen. Use a Water Gun.

Power washer that got away from you... :innocent0

Sounds like the neighbor has a new toy and wants to "test it out".
A reminder its not welcome would be in order before the super-soaker.

As these things become more common, I'm going to make a fortune selling my privacy ensuring SWIM (Squirrels With Itty-Bitty Missles) force.

Put a big poster featuring your junk on your roof with the caption "See anything you like?"

It may or may not be back.

I was going to say use a hose or get the pressure washer out before you go grabbing for a gun. Unless of course cyber tech has become self aware.
