Very nice. A 1928 is on my short list. I wouldn't thread the barrel for a can, and I really like cans. :innocent0. Some guns are just meant to keep their iconic look. Adding a small optic can be easily reversed.

Bob that is a beaut. I am with Rside. Don't thread it. If you really want to ,get a replacement barrel and thread that one. Are the barrels easily replaced on it? I have no idea.

Got my new MG. Just a little toy. I'm think'n about adding an optics rail and a threaded barrel for a suppressor, what do you think would be a good fit?

I have been looking forward to seeing how these BRP Tommy guns shoot! Oh and no on the optics and suppressor. Can't you remove the tube and run it in another setup? If so I would have a second modern setup for that.

Yeah, I was just playing with you guys. It came with a second 8" threaded barrel and the sights are easily taken off for a rail and a red dot. The barrel is also easily detached, unlike real Thompsons. It's a great shooter, however I'm now out of 45 ;)

    :smack:

    Don't scare us like that.

With that Tommy I would do nothing more than lose the forward grip.

Where did you find that beauty? That would definitely be a cool one to own!

The set came with the classic M1A1 front grip and I have the hooded triangle shaped rear sight inbound. I'll post some more pics when it arrives. It can be made to look damn near identical to an M1A1, especially with the side charging handle. It's a real dream to shoot and sounds exactly like a real Thompson at 1/3 the cost. Brian at BRP really hooked me up. If anyone ever dreamed about owning a Thompson submachinegun, but never thought they would ever have the funds, then now's your chance to get one of these beauties. It also has real pluses, like easily swappable barrels, and not being so rare that it becomes a safe queen.
