My question is how long can hogan keep LT Colonel Anthony C. Satchell as acting Superintendent?

And does anyone know if the above-mentioned acting superintendent is 2A friendly or not.

He will keep him until he makes a choice. They are working on a choice now. Hopefully it won't be long.

    As long as he likes

No clue, but it really shouldn't matter one way or the other since he serves at the pleasure of the Governor.

I doubt we will have an answer on 2S Tuesday. For that matter, I have my doubts we will know anything before the end of the month. I wish we knew why there's a holdup on this confirmation.

Maybe because the evaluation and selection process contains several good candidates? Or Hogan's waiting until Frosh can't "spit in the soup?"

I don't know the reason why, it's just a gut feeling I have.

He has a list of candidates. He is trying to find the best one. I do know this.

Maybe he's waiting for the GA to shut down for the year?

I spoke with a Sgt at the licensing div yesterday and he doesn't think a new Super will make any difference in reducing the restrictions on current permit holders.

He also seamed annoyed at the questions I was asking, so maybe he isn't the best judge of our 2A future.

At one point he asked "so what are we doing here, are you lawyer or are you from the media. What's with all these questions?"
