    Anyone here belong to the Berwin rod and gun club in Bowie. I believe each member can take up to 4 guests. Might be 3, I'm not sure.

    So, what is it? Back yard project from Bubba's lumber? Or is it a re-stock from the 60's? Or original equipment? IHC, SA, HRA or Winchester? Anyone?....

    That looks like USGI walnut, from before the 60s, otherwise, I don't know. I do know it looks great. I'd be happy with that stock.

    By the way, most people prefer walnut over birch any day.

    Looks like your standard USGI 50's replacement stock. Usually the only cartouche they will have is a proof P on the inside of pistol grip. I've had several of them over the years, they are slightly larger than the WW2 stock profile.

    Yep, I certainly do. The stock on my M1A is walnut, so mine match.:D
