Then claims the NRA didnt get his candidate survey:

"Annapolis, May 21, 2014 - We were disappointed that the National Rifle Association did not receive our answers to their candidate questionnaire, which we submitted months ago, and today gave us a default failing grade in their ratings for the upcoming June 24 gubernatorial primary."

Correct me if im wrong, no survey submitted is a "?" grade, while a D grade indicates some really bad answers on the survey... right?

    A+ is outstanding
A is a perfect nra survey and voting record
AQ is a perfect survey for candidates with no voting record
A- is a minor infraction on the survey or in voting

letter grades are dropped for major infractions

F is for frosh and anyone that voted for sb281.

How does Hogans transparency (or lack thereof) earn him an A- ??? He doesn't reply to people and everything is second hand information with him and his 2a position. Yet Lollar, who is very pro 2a get's a D. I think the NRA needs to get their "stuff" together a little better.

So it's automatically Lollars's fault he states he submitted it . I said it earlier the establishment in MD won't let him win. The Republican Party in this state is just as the dems

I dont see any reason to try and scuttle his campaign... he's done just fine with that on his own.

he hasn't paid his dues to the establishment . Why when he released his plan to turn this state around fiscally all the "main" candidates said it would never work then release "their" plan but was Lollar's plan just some words changed .

Here is Lollar's full explanation: http://www.lollar4governor.com/lollar_timmerman_on_nra_endorsement . I still support Lollar and am willing to wait to see what really happened to get this supposed "D." Lollar got an A from NRA in his race for Congress in 2010. I have followed his speeches and his website statements pretty close. Even if it is a Campaign admin screw up, I'm still with him.
For me, this campaign loses it with this:
I will continue all efforts to preserve and protect the safety and well-being of the general public through the continued utilization of background checks and waiting periods for certain weapons while empowering law enforcement officials with adequate resources to provide background checks in an expeditious and timely manner.

Here's his opportunity to "set the record straight," in the spotlight.

If the NRA didn't receive or regard his response, shouldn't he have received a "?" rating rather than what he got?

I'd love to see the actual questionnaire and his actual responses. I guess neither side can/will release that. I've heard speculation that the questionnaire included questions about stand-your-ground laws that at least partly affected his rating.
