Yup, grew up, lived and worked most of my life in MD, left it all and moved to PA as MD life got to be unbearable, my company expanded telecommuting, and opened an office In Houston to expand instead of expanding in MD, probably the best scenario, lots of jobs "left MD", but nobody lost theirs, and better off in just about every way. As far as taxes go, PA isn't exactly paradise either, but it is improving slowly, and the area is growing and prospering, in comparison MD gets more and more empty and depressing every time we visit everyone we left behind.

Well thats not 100% true . In order for them to get tuition assistance, either the student or the student's parents MUST have paid state and federal income taxes minimal of 3 years and must have full record of it. After that there is monumental amount of paper work and also have to attend maryland high school all 4 years . 0 criminal record. its a tedious task. 80% failure rate for the assistance and they must pay back in out of state tuition. Used to be an assistant for immigrant counselor at HCC.

and i have lived here for all 50 years of my life and i couldnt get my son any tuition help so why should immigrants get it? my opinion on this is ALL illegal immigrants should be deported, not supported.

and i have lived here for all 50 years of my life and i couldnt get my son any tuition help so why should immigrants get it? my opinion on this is ALL undocumented immigrants should be deported, not supported.

I think illegal immigrants should first be given a fair shot at getting legal.

The process needs to be reformed so people aren't waiting here for years and years for their VISAs or papers or citizenship or whatever.

Make 'em legal, make 'em pay taxes, subject them to the same laws as everyone else.

Once that's done, anyone who is left who's NOT legal, who is unable or unwilling to take the reformed path to legality, should definitely be deported.

i rekon we all have our own opinions on this but i believe there are somewhere around 12 million illegals here already and if they wanted to be legal they shouldnt have wet backed it here they should have come thru the process so they would be legal.

personally i get tired of paying more and more taxes to support more and more people. its bad enough with the lazy ass entitlement folks that are legal that we who pay taxes take care of.



i am not against immigration but i dont think anyone should be allowed here illegally. they should all go thru whatever process there is and come here legally.

Hi I just started collecting rifles mostly C&R.

I had a good experience handling firearm when I was attending college down in Chattanooga TN and that was when I earn the much appreciation. when I came back to md I realize how difficult it is to purchase C&R handguns .

Currently Super Senior at a university and My major is History Archaeology so even though I enjoy owning more modern rifles and handguns but my heart is always with my pre '50s firearms.

I haven't posted but this forum has helped me with much information as possible and put many things in layman terms which helped me greatly.

I hope I can contribute by gaining knowledge and helping people new like myself in the future.
