Popped my C&R cherry!

I've been sitting on this shiny new C&R license for almost 5 weeks now. Finally got my butt in gear. After doing a lot of reading of opinions on this site I went with SOG and ordered not 1 but TWO guns. P1 and CZ50.
Now the wait is on, hopefully they come this week
Will post pics when they get here. My wife still doesn't believe I can have a handgun shipped right to the house

My Utah CCW app was received over 2 weeks ago and I haven't been charged for that yet either. I'm on a run of bad luck now.

I feel like that's the case with my kids missing school over the past 3 months. Between snow days and sickness I think I've missed two weeks of work staying home with them Today is one of those sick days

Did you fill out their account creation form?

you have to fill that out and e-mail them the ffl. I got an e-mail within 2 days saying that my account was set up

I also called them before placing my order to get the details of how to pay COD(never done it before) and to make sure they still had hex pin P1s. The lady on the phone was extremely polite and VERY helpful. Small sample, but good experience so far

Yea..... maybe they are just being slow with me. its only been like 5 days or so hopefully I will get access sometimes this week.

I put in mine at the end of January.... took them right around 3 weeks for Utah to process payment for me. I hear by law they have 60 days after processing payment to issue or reject.

I am at 40 days now and still waiting. It was charged at 4 days.

That's what I'm wondering. To be fair, the Post Office royally screwed up and it took my application almost a whole month to leave Baltimore, but it was received on 2/23 and I haven't been charged yet.

You're getting there. Mine took 30 days.

I would call them. There's no reason yours should take that much longer than any one else's. When it happened to me, they reprinted my license and I had it in a few days.

I just called them. She said my application was entered into the licensing system on 2/21 and that it would probably be sometime in April or May that I receive it. I hope she was just being conservative with her estimate.

Now you have to arrange for more kid's sick days to coincide with UPS/Fedex deliveries or risk really surprising the Mrs. with just how many can be shipped right to the house! BTW, you better convert the safe into an ammo locker and start looking for an upgrade. It took me more than 10 years to outgrow it and you managed it in less than 10 weeks!
