    but its unloaded, he checked!

Let me tell you about that.

SrA Christopher Thomley, USAF. During his time at Offutt AFB some of his more awesome accomplishments included nearly getting court-martialed for leaving work in the middle of the day to go buy a car (and on the test drive, asking the salesman if they could go by his apartment so he could get his GLOCK and see if it fit in the center console), admitting to his commander that he carried a gun routinely without a CCW permit (which took all of 10 minutes to acquire in Nebraska...and which meant he admitted routinely committing a FELONY to his Commander), and marrying a 16-year-old (when he was 22), then having to re-work his duty hours so he could drop his wife off in the morning, and pick her up in the afternoon, at high school.

But top of the pops on his list of "why I should get a ****ing medal" was the day after he PCS'd to Texas. And shot himself in the hand, knee, and foot.

    With one. ****ing. bullet.

All because he coulda SWORE the chamber was empty when he pulled the trigger.

Don't be a Thomley. Keep your damn booger hook off the bang switch.

A Sergeant in my Troop had a negligent discharge which ended up wounding his Platoon Sergeant and killing another Soldier. Another Sergeant in my Troop shot himself when playing around with an M9 on guard duty. I can go on to list a number of other ND incidents due to piss poor weapon handling and a lack of discipline which occurred during my first combat tour in 2003. For some things redundancy is just necessary.

All of these beautiful ARs are making me depressed. I'll never be able to own anything but an HBAR. Oh well, then I remember I have my SIG556R and everything's alright :party29:

If you look at both of your avatars, seems like you guys have similar tastes! This is one of Engage Armaments 1 October E4-3G Rifles. It's their way of pushing back against our Oct 1st "assault weapon" ban.
