I heard about a panel discussion on the radio today being held at the Rockville unitarian church tomorrow, 3/10 between 3-5 pm. The people on the panel include the county executive, police chief etc.. They are billing it as a public forum so... This is a good opportunity for 2A friendly MoCo residents to ask pointed questions and get it on video.
Here is the link to the announcement. Scroll down about 2/3 of the page to the gun violence panel.

It will be a chance to learn how we can engage to help move toward a culture of non-violence.

Step #1 - Use violence to disarm the law-abiding. :sad20:

There is nothing more hypocritical than forcing pacifism on people who don't endorse it.

Can you ask them why they are unwilling to pass legislation to enforce mandatory sentences already on the books for gun felonies? Why they are so strongly in favor of early release or probation for repeat offenders of violence?

Can someone ask them why a felon has been arrested 75 times in the state of MD?

    Thanks.

For your first point, I dont know enough to discuss it. I try not to ask questions where the answer is not something I already know. If someone more wlll versed is attending, I will leave that one for them to ask.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, whatever you do approach this with respect to those on the panel. Even if you don't like them (which we don't most of them) It's a church. I wish I could be there as my wife spoke at the MoCo Town HAll Meeting with the Lt. Gov. While I was in Annapolis. Let us know how it goes and what they say!!! Thanks to all who are representing our side.

OH NO!! Forehand is an idiot!! Based on some of her questions during the hearings, I don't even think she read the bills, let alone be able to carry on an intelligeent conversation about their pitfalls.
