MD is already taking steps to neutralize the effects of the future ruling. One bill will make it illegal to carry in churches, movie theaters, recreation areas, office buildings and other places unless the authority figure for the location would allow it.

I argued that it should be the opposite. Let CCW permit holders carry everywhere and let authority figures decide if they do NOT want that at their locations.

Lets see what shakes out from yesterday.

I don't think any of yesterday's bills have a snowflakes chance in hell.

I don't know. It seems like Maryland has an almost untapped capacity to push absolutely stupid and asinine legislation. I lost respect for Ray Rice today with his push to get people to pull their kids from school today to testify for the cyber bullying bill. It will effectively create the thought police here in Maryland, and it completely screwed MSA testing scores for the testing that was being done today. It's the scores on those very tests that make Maryland #1 in the nation for public education.

That's the way Virginia's law is set up if I understand it correctly, which is why people have been boycotting places like Buffalo Wild Wings because their corporate policy is to ban CCW.

The BWW in Woodbridge has the no guns sign, but the one in Manassas doesn't. ??? The worst they can do is ask you to leave. If you don't, you can get arrested for trespassing. There's still time for them to put the ruling out :D
