My oral testimony tomorrow will be about listening to 3 days worth of debate from supposedly educated lawyers that were VERY UN-educated when it comes to firearms and the facts associated with them. I know we are supposed to play nice, but after the last 3 days of crap we've all listened to I'm gonna make my 1 minute count. They might not like it or listen but I sure will feel a HELL of a lot better!!

Any chance we can pressure one of the senators who voted for cloture enough to get them to bring a motion to reconsider and change their vote to stop the limit of debate? I'm not sure if that's possible, but they did it with amendments last night. Might be worth flooding Degrange and Middleton's offices with calls.

Rigged Rigged Rigged. No other explanation...look at how the vote went down. Brochin ONLY voted against cloture cause Miller had the votes...otherwise the result would have been the same.

I HAVE no f'n faith in the MD political process. This is straight up bull. Senator Nancy Jacobs called this one. She was dead on that this is rigged.

Miller LET him vote for filibuster to provide cover. He pissed of a lot of people when he told over 100 people at a town hall he would not vote for any bill with licensing. He then voted for it in committee to bring it to the floor with licensing I'm it. He lies to shut people up. Miller is trying to save him.

TOO LATE!!! Unless he votes against it when the REAL vote comes around. HE's toast to a lot of people that CAN make a difference.

If he was really against it he would have supported the filibuster.

Though I would like for this bill to die a swift death, I personally dislike filibuster as a tactic by either side. It reeks of gamesmanship and (I believe) is indicative of the lack of professionalism and weighty sense of duty that our Legislature displays these days.

That being said, there are so many other things wrong in this process from lying, to bullying etc.

I just personally dislike filibuster and were I in the senate, I might truly be able to say I do not support the bill, vote against it, but not be for filibuster.

    Just sayin...

Freestate Dinos needs to ramp it up. We need to turn Maryland all Democratic. So we can mess up their governing from the inside.

I agree. When I get chance to send him a email, I'm going to thank him for saving me $25 on my license and will donate it to his opponite in2014 even if I'm not in his district.

Changing your voter registration is easy. I changed to R for the primaries, and then changed back to unaffiliated after. Unlike the proposed GUN registration, you can change voter registration up until 30 days before the election, or 30 days after...

Absolutely right! Clearly, they are clueless about firearms, especially Frosh!
