Not to be party pooper, but back in the fall it was 1800$. Although Everyone seems to be out of stock of mosins and wanting more than 120 for them so its might not be so bad. I remember seeing it a couple years ago at like 60 a rifle but those days are gone.

Deals are not around long in this environment. And things that are deals now, were languishing on the shelves at the same price 2 months ago.

A few years ago, I had a chance to buy a crate of unissued, consecutively numbered Yugo SKS's, for $180 each. I passed it up. :sad20:

    everyone had that chance.

but go back to 2005 and thats actually quite a high price.

plus regardless of being a deal, $1800 plus freight is not a small chunk of change for most.

i did think about trying to do it back then though.

There were a lot of things 8 years ago that were much cheaper than they sell for today. Heck, if you knew 8 months ago what certain stuff was going to be bringing right now, you could have taken a second mortgage on your house and been ready to retire in style today!

if i had a time machine, id go back and buy turkish 8mm, as much as i could buy, pallets of it.

cause back then i bought it for 5 cents a round, if you bought pallets of it, probably a little cheaper even, today you could make around 800% profit.

i still do actually have like 6 bandoliers of the stuff.

What if they WERE in stock, would anyone be interested in splitting a case? (I would be looking to have several thousand rounds sent along with the pallet too).

id be curious to hear what they quote you on shipping.

Can't be cheap. I have a forklift/dock, so no liftgate service is required, that usually helps a little.

The definitely have 7.62 in stock too, so this could get in interesting (and expensive):o
