    I like this line...

    K) If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you have a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?

Haven't finished yet, so I'll try to avoid the comments (but it's usually like not looking at a train wreck). But what's up with that picture?

    EDIT:
ha, ok I read the comments and this one made it worth it:

Agreed. They should give up their guns. I couldn't imagine a situation that would require my family or I to be armed.

Really? Read the police section in the paper. How much reason do you need?

I'm going to go out on a limb and bet Jefferson never said that.

:lol:Yea, I'm gonna have to agree. Really don't think Jefferson made that remark.....The author would have more credibility if his first rule is; 'avoid a gunfight if at all possible'.

Too much chest-thumping, not enough reality for my tastes.

That sort of garbage is the reason why we have so much trouble with the antis

Honestly, if I were in a concealed carry class and the instructor started spouting some of those sayings, I'd get up and leave.

I believe the rules may cause some questions from the antis by the way we say it but they are truisms (minus E,H, and L)
A - is the most likely way we will lose our personal protection tool
    B - wouldn't you? (judge by 12)
    C- don't they (self protection)
D - good situational awareness ( arm length distance)
E - yeah this one, not so funny
F- could be said differently but you life expectancy is the time between the 911 call and the time the police arrive
    G - a definite truism; a win is a must
    H- scratch this one
    I- true
J- defiantly agree with this one
    K- kinda funny
    L- scratch this one too
    M- hopefully you can
And a more Suitable quote from Thomas Jefferson:

"As to the species of exercise, I advise the gun. While this gives [only] moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise, and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun, therefore, be the constant companion to your walks."

-- Thomas Jefferson, writing to his teenaged nephew.

    What you think?
