I have no experience in building AR's. Can anyone tell me what the process is like when going from these receivers to a fully built AR?
... The hardest part is making sure that you don't lose one of the small springs that have a tendency to take flight at supersonic speeds.
I am up here in Frederick. I am thinking on purchasing maybe 2 lowers on this buy. if anybody else up here wants to, I have a full size conversion van that can accommodate 6 more adults comfortably (maybe two more on the floor). I think if we get enough people to vanpool it down there it will be cost effective.
Hell, if i am going anyone else is welcome to tag along. The more rifles we can get into people's possession the better.
I'm already becoming a regular customer at Gun Connection so what's a little further?
Corsica's hours are by appointment only anyway. I think they will work with us.
If we purchase more than 1, is it still covered under the $20 trnasfer +$10 MSP? Or do we pay the transfer and MSP for each reciever?
Would it be possible to have them shipped (for a fee of course) to local FFL's for those of us a good haul away?
It is quite simple really. I'm not mechanically inclined at all, and it takes me no more than 45 minutes to complete a lower. For the most part it is just a matter of driving a few pins and screwing on the the buffer.
