So after you make your deposit how long do you have to disarm yourself now that you are no longer transporting cash. Your deposit slip is time stamped so how long after that is too long to be carrying with that type of restriction ?

You are not supposed to do things like stop for lunch, take in a peep show, get new shoes etc. you are supposed to go straight back home or straight back to work.

The baseline "typical" restriction wording for bussiness owners is " Between residence , place of bussiness, and bank" to include all permutations of the three. If the G&S were to include the transporting of cash for other bussines purposes ( collections , cash payouts , etc) that would entail different/ extra language ( and documentation thereof) .

A peep show is a human right, we need to fight this!

Ugh, can't wait for the 19th. I wanna see what the state feels is their grounds for an appeal.

(Apparently they're gonna try to fight the 14th amendment? Now the the 2nd is a recognized right, how could they possibly succeed?)

Restriction would say "while carrying cash" or something to that effect. If cash is in hand, they the owner is covered.

I understand. But I wander how much of this splitting hairs is accurate as far as the exact times when and where, or is this just one of the times or things that a few that have never had a ccw are just speculating of and turns into an urban legend?

Some facts that I can tell you. I have know.... about 15 people over the years that were business owners and have/had ccw's. They put the gun in their pocket when they went to work and they did not take their gun off until that came home from work. EVERY DAY!

Now were they breaking a law because all of the had a restriction they did not pay any attention to? Maybe. But if we are saying that carrying cash is the reason, business owners always carry cash to and from work.

Even if business owners only went to the bank once each week (most likely never happens) But like anyone else, plans change. One week more money is made. next week less money is made. Poor planning sent the to the bank twice as much this week compared to last week.

Whatever the case may be. How restricted can it be?

This is probably both splitting hairs and preaching to the choir but if you have a business and always have a $1 dollar bill on you are you in the clear?

The point should be that if the MSP tells you because your a business owner you can have your ccw because you carry cash. What they are saying is that because of the cash you carry you are somehow in greater danger so you have a G&S.

But here is the thing. Yes, you may only go to the bank once each week. But the bad guy does not know that. Your the business owner and as the business owner the bad guy thinks you always have money.

So if this is true (and it is), Your ALWAYS in greater danger just because your the business owner.

So what is the reason of the CCW? Is it to protect the money or the life of the business owner that ALWAYS has a mark on their backs?

How many times have you heard that someone got shot over $5? When the bay guy is planning to rob whoever, they think/hope they have more then $5. If anything I think business owners, or anyone for that matter is at less danger if they had allot of money on the that made the bad guy very happy when they got robed.

If that's the case, we all need ccw's because any bad guy that robs me is going to be upset with what he will get from me and more likely to shoot me.

Anyone that uses ATM's should have ccw's. I think they are are in the greatest of danger. Personally I can't understand why there is not more muggings at ATM's then there are.

I use a BofA ATM, "usually", and after normall hours of 8 to 5,
and weekend hours the door leading to inside ATM is locked and the
bank card is used to open it. Of course there is a drive thru and
of couse this by no means say that someone couln't approach after
you have made a withdrawl of cash..just sayin"

When I am forced to use an ATM, I prefer a drive through, and get so close to the ATM that there is no room for anyone to squeeze in between. Not a great solution, but better than nothing I guess.

I understand. But when talking ATM's, is their a bigger sitting duck for the bad guy?

It's another "know it when they see it" , but from direct knowledge - stopping off for happy hour , stopping off.to see a movie , detouring thru a drug area several hours after work = busted. Stopping for gas , stopping at convience store , stopping for fast food/ carry out = generally cool , as much as Md ever is.

Doesn't have to be the absolutely shortest route , but at least in right general direction, and somewhat plausable routing.

( For this posting , I am including having gun confsicated and permit revoked , in addition to actual criminal charges)
