Can I come too? What time?

Anyone know the name of the Chinese restaurant the Freestate staff orders from? I'm always hungry when I leave, but don't know the area, so I go home to eat. Is there a pizza place nearby too?

As for the loaded magazine and loaded gun thing, I think it makes sense. First off, it's Randy's range, his rules. If they wanted to ban people in yellow shirts, they could.
About the loaded magazine thing, they inspect ammo, and ammo is hard to inspect when it's in the mags. Steel core ammo damages the range, and if people continually damaged the range, repair costs would spiral out of control and Freestate would have to shut down.

The loaded gun thing... I don't completely agree with this one, but I understand why they do it. A concealed carry gun has a tendency to come out for show and tell in a gun store. If that happens, you now have a customer literally playing with a loaded gun. Not cool. This ties in with the loaded magazine rule. Most of us are unconsciously trained that empty guns need reloading. Let's say you do a safety/ammo check at the front counter, slide is locked back... of course you slap a full mag in, because that's what you do with loaded guns. Again, we now have a customer playing with a loaded gun, who may not be mentally focused and aware of that.

That said, when you properly conceal carry, how many people are supposed to know you have a gun? That's right, nobody! Concealed carry is supposed to be a big fun game of Russian roulette for carjackers, muggers, and rapists. Do I have a gun? Or don't I? It's so exciting, nobody knows who's armed!
Don't ruin the fun for an aspiring criminal. Hide your gun, and don't wear those stupid "shoot me first" vests and pants.

Im not sure what exact time ill be there. 7 will be the soonest. Im not sure how late they are open though.

    Freestate Update!!!!!!!

    Ok,

I just got home from shooting at FreeState.....

So everyone knows I am telling the truth I was on lane 6, In a black tee shirt with a 1911 on the back, wearing a brown slouch hat. I am sure the video can be viewed if needed.

    1. When I entred FS no teenager from the Simpsons with a squeaky voice drew down on me.

    2. God Dam it I want mug root beer in the soda cooler!

    3. Randy checked me in, I did not feel eye f*cked, He did use my first name
he smiled to. Was he comming on to me?

    4. Dr. Bob pleasently greated me when I left the range to pee-pee, I think this motives were genuine or was it to give me a false scense of belonging??

    5. My two friends who meet me their were not searched as it was a tsa check point in an airport, what the hell! that magazine could have been loaded.Should I fear for my safety??

    6. I think Randy had already eaten, still no egg roll shearing.

    7. while shooting, no one died

    8. Their was a very hot young lady on lane one, was she a plant to lure in more guys?

    9. I lost some brass in front of the bench, Can I get reinbursed for that?

All and all another bad night at FreeState. Wheres Lord Chad I need a hug:lol2:

What's this about the free egg rolls? How come I don't get offered free egg rolls? Is it because of the color of my guns? If I buy my next gun at Freestate, will an order of egg rolls be included?

(just trying to spread a rumor, pass it on)

is she flying in from indiana or narnia????

And do you know for a fact her age?

Neither, and I do indeed. In fact, she went to HS with a fellow MDS member, who shall remain nameless...

She is, quite possibly, simultaneously the most gorgeous woman and biggest sweetheart I've ever met.

I have got to know the guys at Freestate very well. I would say Mark and Randy the most; from the day they started working in the building.
I like to give them a hand stocking the ammo or something when I am there just killing time talking to the guys or waiting for a lane to open. Hell I have handed out enough flyers and business cards to people to promote there range I should get a percentage of the profits. :D I have had my firearms and ammo checked several times and never an issue.
I look at it this way. It’s there House, there rules, and if I don’t respect there rules I am out.

I do have to say it does bother the hell out of me to see parts of that range shot up that should have never happened. I am not sure if Randy can monitor all the range lanes with the cameras. But it is a shame to see some of that damage. It cost those guys a chunk of change for that range.

And the "omg! now they know I have $2000 worth of guns!" thing is still bothering me. Last time I went up there I had my Saiga (converted...$1200?), PLR with red dot ($600?), Glock 22 ($500), STI Spartan ($700), MKIII with upgrades ($600?) I *think* that was it? I've also rolled up there with my AR, SKS, PLR, Saiga, G22 and MKIII...it's an expensive hobby, once you start taking multiple guns to the range you start taking multiple thousands of dollars of easy to steal metal (and plastic)...deal with it?

The only place open on that strip right now is the Royal Farm Store. If they are ordering something other than fried chicken, it must be coming from Eastern Avenue in Middle River near Martin's.

And the Royal Famrs isn't even open yet! They got pissed when I walked in through the front door, looked around at the lack of anything but construction stuff, and walked out lol.

I thought I saw people pumping gas? Maybe not. That new strip of 43 from route 40 to Eastern Ave. is very lonely. All of those empty buildings! Whoever is trying to lease them is not loving life. I do however, like that Freestate is the only business in their strip. The extra parking is needed on the weekends.:D
