I'm about at this point even though my rep is a demonrat. I think I am over 430 days and am well past pissed.

"That's similar to what happened to me. Contacted rep then she sent an email to the ATF. The response was the typical pending status email but about a week later they had approved the forms and a week or so later I had my stamps. It was also a batch approval that had pending dates of late September 2021 to November 2021.

Honestly it's hard to correlate contacting the reps to getting an approval but it's worth a shot. I dunno if it's them not doing their jobs or just the sheer amount of forms they receive. Apparently they have shipping containers worth of forms (according to a picture on reddit so take with a grain of salt)."

Even most liberal reps will do something. They have constituent staff who contact relevant executive branch agencies when a constituent complains about something.

Most executive branch agencies have at least a small staff dedicated to handling congressional staff inquiries. Sometimes it’s “tough luck”, but in many cases if a wheel can be oiled, the squeaky wheel will get oiled.

If the Congresscritters staff does their job correctly inputting the request, Congressional inquiries or items of interest (CONGRINT) to a federal agency get a good bit of attention throughout the chain of command. I can't speak for the DOJ/BATF internal process, but at other agencies the response time (usually has a time limit for information and actions) and the metrics are tracked by the departments legislative affairs office.

If everyone did this, maybe they could light some fires and get everyone over there to do their jobs in a timely matter. Either that or get everyone blocked and put on a watch list.

In the age of information, there is no reason it needs to take more than a couple of hours. There is no reason to resubmit prints. This is stupidity.

There were 3 people in my Wear and Carry class that all said they had there stamp in 3 months. The process has gotten much faster they said. This was after someone else said they wanted to get a suppressor but didn't want to go through the year long wait. I'm guessing now that was BS.

Well, I'm F'ed anyways. I thought my e-form went in, but apparently SC didnt even have the can yet. So I don't think my form has been submitted for my BOGO can that I ordered 10 months ago.

Not sure if it helps, but worth a try.

Hand in there. Mine most recent was just approved at 415 days since check cashed.

I have an eForm 4 that is now somewhere past 120 days. I stopped tracking how far, because I'm mad of the broken 90 day promise.

I think that this is half true. ATF did run some people through the new eforms in 90 days. Not sure if it was a test or whether they were told to stop and process older ones.

I have one in March that has not been approved.

The ATF needs to be sued is what needs to happen. The Biden admin is not going to rush or improve anything related to guns. It would not shock me to learn that they have pulled people from this to slow it down and focus on other non problems.

My latest was 8/2/21 pending, 8/3/22 approved and like 1.5 weeks to mail it out.

I do love that some people think a Democrat from MD will help them. Much more likely to write legislation to ban them once they find out they are legal...
