The path to NRA Instructor is:
1. Take the basic student course (pistol, rifle, shotgun, etc)2. Take Basic Instructor Training (BIT)
3. Take the instructor course (pistol, rifle, shotgun, etc)
You have to be an NRA Pistol Instructor before you can be an NRA CCW instructor. There is an upcoming BIT class on 5 March, Rifle Instructor on 12 March and Pistol Instructor on 19 March.
