    Given the recent 2A decision on the 4th Circuit Court, my mind turned to the inherent slipperiness of banana peels.

    AND WE SHOULD ALL DEFEND THE 2A RIGHTS GRANTED TO US, LEST WE GO BANANAS

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Policy for the Prohibition of Bananas and Banana-Related Products
    Preamble
    In light of the inherent slipperiness of banana peels and the potential for serious injury resulting from slips and falls caused by these peels, this policy aims to eliminate the source of this hazard by prohibiting the use, sale, and distribution of bananas and banana-related products within the jurisdiction of the State of Maryland.
    Section 1: Prohibition
    1.1 The use, sale, and distribution of bananas and banana-related products, including but not limited to banana peels, banana bread, banana muffins, and banana ice cream, is hereby prohibited within the jurisdiction of the State of Maryland.
    1.2 This prohibition extends to all entities, individuals, and businesses operating within the jurisdiction, including grocery stores, restaurants, schools, and any other establishments that may handle or sell bananas or banana-related products.
    1.3 No person or entity shall possess, consume, or transport bananas or banana-related products within the jurisdiction of the State of Maryland.
    Section 2: Enforcement
    2.1 Any person or entity found to violate this policy shall be subject to the following penalties:
    2.1.1 First offense: A written warning and a fine of 1000 dollars.
    2.1.2 Second offense: A fine of 1000 dollars and a requirement to complete a banana peel hazard awareness course.
    2.1.3 Third offense: A fine of 1000 dollars and potential revocation of relevant business permits or licenses.
    2.2 Authorized enforcement personnel, including but not limited to police officers and health inspectors, shall have the authority to confiscate any bananas or banana-related products found in violation of this policy.
    Section 3: Appeals
    3.1 Any person or entity who believes they have been unfairly penalized for violating this policy may file an appeal with the Maryland Council on Fair Use of Banana and Banana Related Products.
    3.2 The Appeals Board shall review the evidence and determine whether to uphold or overturn the penalty.
    Section 4: Severability
    4.1 If any provision of this policy is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the remaining provisions of this policy.
    Section 5: Effective Date
    5.1 This policy shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval.
