LCPGV has been around for years. It used to be called the Legal Community to Help Prevent Gun Violence. They help draft and circulate anti-gunowner laws like may-issue CCW, bans on "assault weapons," the "smart gun" fad, and even the current micro stamping craze. Poke around their site; they have plenty of proposed legislation. That is why many anti-gunowner bills are able to be shoved onto legislative calendars so quickly.

Ironic timing indeed - though I'm already aware of that resource. They still show 20 as the count, I haven't come across anything new in local media.

Maryland had the 7th highest murder rate of all states in 2012 (6.3 per 100,000, total of 369 murders). 217 (58.8%) of those were in Baltimore City, which accounts for 10.5% of the state's population. The solution to the problem is obvious to me.
