You might be right. I ordered one and will let you know. A while back, I purchased a wide handguard for a G3 from these guys and it is indeed genuine HK. We shall see.

It could go either way with Numrich. In this case it appears to be original. I doubt its German, but it could be Paki or Portugese.

That ad says that it's HK. I'd buy it, check for markings and either return it or give it away if it's not truly HK (or Solingen, etc.) . You wouldn't be out much.

You know, I tried to find an aftermarket knock off and could not (just to assure myself that none existed). Wouldn't it be my luck that this thing I ordered is made in Bangladesh.

Wow, lots of people must have come to the same conclusion, it's sold out already.

What makes me think it's Numnuts junk is that the flat steel handguard and the irregular gap between the handle and handguard. Compare it to the What-a-country used one.
