This is a great idea. Just finished writing to all my reps asking them to fully support this.

It would be great, I just wish they would find a system that works better than the stupid silverlight. Yes I can pull it up on my phone, but every time I do, it starts at the beginning as opposed to mid-stream.

Lots of big-name radio shows, ESPN, and others have figured out live streaming, the MD Legislature should too.

i wrote my reps also. i have always thought that this was a great idea. mac middleton cemented that for me last year when after he told me he would not vote for that pos law and then voted for cloture and i called to bitch about it and he said "how did you know about that" and i told him i listened on the computer, that seemed to knock the wind out of him. he didnt like it a bit. most of them dont want us to know what they are doing and thats wrong. they dont want to be accountable. they forget they work for us. good for delegate Hough.

    Yes!
Let the citizens watch as their representatives read the newspaper and play games on their phone while people testify.

    .
    A step towards accountability.

Maybe they can use one of the Baltimore city police cams with the flashing blue light on top?

Sen. Ron Young is one of the lawmakers who opposed the suggested change.

"To spend the money that is required, I'd like to know that there is a real interest, and I just haven't seen any evidence of that," said Young, D-District 3.

Yeah like the real interest against SB281??? *******.

I would love to see this and holding them accountable= they won't do it. They will tell us what they did and we (their subjects) will like it. :mad54::banghead:

You can also comment directly on the article, which will be viewed by more than just us. Maybe then Young will see that there is support for this, but only if he gets his head out of his ass.
