    The way these checks are being run assumes that you are a criminal just because you're a gun owner.

    "Sir I stopped your camoflauged Ford truck today because your tail light is out and while I'm here I'm going to run a mental health check on you since I can clearly see you're a hunter and probably own guns."

    Yeah I know.....that's a slight exaggeration.....but maybe not.

    What's next?


    "Ma'am you were driving too fast, so I'm going to run a mental health check on you to make sure you're mentally stable enough to handle this vehicle."

    At least in Maryland they tell you they are doing it.

    And they tell you to bring you're own lube because the Md Legislature and Tef Lep has farked the budget/expenditures so royally that they won't foot the bill for it....but they WILL continue to spend 2 million on the worthless shell casing requirement and give ~2 million to Casa de Md so they can teach a bunch of illegals how to break our laws and get away with it.
