I wasn't expecting accuracy like this. I was very surprised at just how flat the 17HMR round is. I would love a AR upper chambered in this round. Anyone know if any exist?

Yup, 17 HMR in any decent gun is sickly accurate. Its one of my favorites even though (usually) I can buy centerfire ammo for a buck more.

By the way Alexander arms makes an upper in this caliber. Its pricey and questionable in utility but for those with cash to burn.

Other good thing about 17 HMR is even when other ammo is unabtanium it seems to be around.

You shooting the CZ 452 or 455? The .17HMR gets all kinds of pro and con debates going, but DAMN it's a fun little cartridge! It surely re-defined what rimfires can do in my mind. Curious to see what the .17 WSM will do once they get some rifles into production for that new cartridge. 3000 fps.....in a rimfire??? HUH? That's the claim. CZ probably won't be too far behind Savage in building rifles for it. And they sure do build some nice ones!

Hear is a picture of my cz 455 22 magnum I have not been able to get it out to the range yeast but i've had a couple 452 22lr that groped like that at 75 yard. Just the overall quality of cz firearms have made me a big fan the wood is just beautiful. I do also like the fact that for a round $140.00 each i can have 4 different guns.

I have a Marlin 17hmr that is quite capable. Look at my avatar. That was about 60 yards.
I also have a CZ 452 Varmint in 22 that is a tack driver. I just it had threaded for real quiet tack driving. The wood is gorgeous on it too. The gunsmith was commenting on it when I took it in.

Man I need to find some of these CZ rifles. Who has them? I have looked online and asked quite a few LGS with no luck.

I really want to find a 452 Scout in 22LR for my daughter. I think I would take anything I can find for me.

They are not super common, I hate to say it but I see quite a few on GB even some packaged with all three barrels

Try Damascus Gun Shop. They had plenty at the last Chantilly show, plus the 455 has interchangeable barrels for 17hmr, 22lr, and 22wm.

Im going to get one next year to replace the Savage 93r17 TR I sold.

Also try Whittaker Guns. Excellent choice of rifle BTW. I don't have a 455 yet but have several 452's in all cals. The switch barrel option is intriguing and the verdict seems to be they are as good as the 452. Google Whittaker Guns, they'll pop up. Very hard to get thru to on phone. I'd fax them and ask for what you want. They'll get back to you. Also Bond Firearms in AZ is a good source.
