I'm looking for a carpenter who can replace the bottom sill plate of a wall in the garage of our house.
The sill plate was water damaged before we bought the house and the previous owners, liberal Democrats, hid the damage by stuffing a piece of foam in place of the damaged wood and painting it to match the rest of the garage. I don't have enough time in the US to do the work myself. The wall is an exterior wall and the damage is under a side door from the garage. Send a PM please if you know of a carpenter who can do such a repair.
